Ma’Bari

- 1640-1652 was seen as a renaissance of Northern culture, seeing a boom in poetry, and chronicling; along with the resurgence of the old Raathian epics

Leofraeth Ma’Bari (b.1613 - d.1666, 53, reigned 14 years)

- Abandoned the provinces of Denin and Bis

1666-1683 Leofwyn II Ilankel

Leofwyn II Ma’Bari (b.1633 - d.1688, 55, reigned 17 years as a junior Ilankel)

- Over her reign, Leofwyn II gave more power to loyal local governors, allowing for more local autonomy, decentralizing the empire and allowing for quicker response against incursions from the north and east. In 1883 she fully embraced the old traditions of the Ma’Bari, who once ruled over territory spanning most of The Northern Empire, calling a council of clans to elect her to be High Queen (Kenkelna) of Barigol

Leofwyn II Ma’Bari (b.1633 - d.1688, 55, reigned 5 years as Kenkelna)

- Abandoned Kanat’Ath

- Saw the resurgence in local culture and identity; extinct clans were officially re-founded, extant clans were revitalized, for the first time since the conquest of the region, politics of the Ma were seen.

1688-1700 Leofroc Kenkelna

- Leofroc was defeated by Kithipli Frodmar Ma’Tara

- Leofroc was allowed to live the rest of his life under house arrest in the Ma’Bari estate within the walls of Barigol

Brethroc Ma’Tara (b.1680-d.1721, 41, reigned 21 years) - Niece of Kithipli Frodmar Ma’Tara, Brethroc was appointed at the Kithipli’s recommendation

- 1719 Lost Delorath and Arilath to invasion from the East

- Brethroc died heirless

Onomar Trazan Junial (b.1691 - d.1748, 57, reigned 27 years) - Cousin of cousin of Brethroc Ma’Tara Ilankel& Kithipli Aethelmar Ma’Tara

1748-1750 Darathikaz II Ilankel

Haladar Trazan Junial (b.1718 - d.1782, 64, reigned 11 years in Darath as junior Ilankel)

- Darathikaz II ruled the Northern Empire loyally to Kithipli Thurislaf Ma’Tara who had served as a mentor in his youth and whom he had previously served under as a provincial administrator until the death of Darathikaz.

- Upon the assassination of Kithipli Thurislaf Ma’Tara, Darathikaz II declared that Krenelazar had become a tyrant and was unfit to rule the empire, at which point he declared himself to be Ken’Ilankel and began to march his army south.
